Our Heart
Ask Jesus exists because we believe Scripture speaks to every season of life—joy and sorrow, certainty and confusion, celebration and crisis. The Bible isn't just an ancient book; it's living and active, relevant to the questions you're carrying today.
Our hope is simple: to help you encounter what God's Word says about what you're going through, in a voice that's warm, pastoral, and grounded in Scripture. Every response points back to the Bible, with citations you can read and explore for yourself.
How It Works
When you bring a question, we search through Scripture to find passages that speak to your situation. These verses are then woven together into a compassionate, practical response—always citing the passages used.
Think of it as a study companion that helps you discover what the Bible says, not a replacement for Scripture itself, for your pastor, or for a professional counselor when one is needed.
Read in Context
Every response includes Scripture citations shown as small tags (likeMatthew 6:34). Tap any citation to open the passage with its surrounding context—the verses before and after—so you can read it in full.
We encourage you to always read the full passage. Context matters deeply in understanding Scripture. The citations are there to make that easy.
Your Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. Your questions are stored anonymously by default, and any personal details are automatically removed.
If you choose to "consent to reuse," your question and response may appear (anonymized) in our blog or educational content—helping others who wrestle with similar questions.
You can delete your account and data anytime by contacting us.
