What This Is
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." — Psalm 119:105
What It Does
Ask Jesus is a Scripture-first tool that helps you discover what God's Word says about your question—whether you're wrestling with doubt, navigating a decision, or seeking comfort in hard times.
It weaves together biblical verses and live pastoral wisdom (from real ministers when available) into warm, thoughtful responses grounded in Scripture. Every answer cites the passages used, so you can read them in context and see for yourself what God's Word says.
How It Works
1. Scripture Search: When you ask a question, we search through the entire Bible (ESV, KJV, NIV, and more) to find passages that speak to your situation.
2. Pastoral Wisdom: Those verses are woven together with pastoral guidance—sometimes generated, sometimes from real ministers—into a compassionate, biblical response.
3. Always Cited: Every Scripture reference is shown as a clickable tag (like John 3:16). Tap any citation to see the full passage with surrounding verses. Context matters.

What It Isn't
This is not Jesus Himself, not a replacement for your pastor, and not a substitute for a licensed counselor, therapist, or mental health professional.
This is a digital tool—a Scripture study companion. While we work hard to ensure biblical accuracy, no tool is perfect. Always verify citations, read passages in context, and study with your faith community.
Responses reflect a broadly Christian perspective. Your tradition may interpret passages differently, and that's okay. We encourage you to bring questions to your pastor or study group.
